New registered office

After spending 10 years in Cauverville-en-Roumois, in the Eure (27), the glass specialist RIOU Glass this weekend took over the premises of its new registered office in Honfleur (14).

RIOU Glass has changed its registered office but very much intends to stay in its home region, Normandy. In response to its growth, and the growth of its teams, the industrial glass group decided to move from its Cauverville-en-Roumois (27) office, where it had been for 10 years, to take possession of new premises located a few kilometres away, in the internationally renowned tourist town of Honfleur (14).

The move happened this weekend, when RIOU Glass took possession of an energy-efficient building – heated by the CalorGlass technology – of 1,000 m², with modern architecture, combining wood and glass, at the mouth of the Seine, in the harbour area of the city of painters. “The Cauverville-en-Roumois premises had become too small”, explained Pierre Riou, Founding Chair of the RIOU Glass group. “After a few months of searching, we decided to set ourselves up in Honfleur because of its pleasant setting, conducive to work and innovation, and its geographical proximity to the economic dynamism of Le Havre.”

By moving from Cauverville-en-Roumois to Honfleur, RIOU Glass will double its office space, thus enabling it to consolidate all its support teams on the same site (finance, accounts, marketing…). By September, the group will also install there a showroom to display its entire range of glazing products. “This space will be intended to host our clients, but they will also be able to use it themselves to invite their own clients”, Pierre Riou was pleased to say. Finally, a space will also be provided for the region’s start-ups who are looking for a place to develop their business. One way for RIOU Glass, for whom entrepreneurship and innovation are at the heart of their foundations, to support the younger generation and share the know-how which in the future will enable it to continue its development. An inauguration is scheduled in September, once the thirty employees who will be working there have unpacked their bags!
